Building a Home

Review construction alerts and requests

Role-aware alerts prioritize saved decisions and deadlines and open the exact project record.

How to use it

  1. Choose Build in the header or Needs attention in a construction project. Actions follow your homeowner or builder role. Dates within seven days and overdue work appear first.
  2. Filter actions, unread updates or due work. Open a title to reach the exact record, including older records outside the first page. Links retain the project and area across reload and browser history.
  3. Mark an update read after reviewing it. Its unfinished action remains until the underlying record changes. A later update becomes unread again. Read state is personal.
  4. In Updates & requests, describe the information needed, choose the homeowner or builder, and set a due date. Record clarification, missing documentation or an external discussion, then submit the resulting decision or evidence for owner closure.
  5. Use Customize project areas on Overview to hide optional tabs. Pending actions and direct links still expose their records. Refresh updates or return to the window to check current status; these alerts appear inside the application. Open Construction notification preferences to opt into a daily email or registered-device push digest. Delivery depends on deployment configuration; Builder accounts currently use email.

Active construction collaboration requires the household’s Ark+ entitlement. Household roles and builder permissions still apply. Existing history is preserved when access changes.
