Emergency Recovery

Organize damage documentation and recovery after immediate safety needs.

How to use it

  1. Open Guided Actions and choose Emergency Recovery. Name the workflow and save it.
  2. Confirm immediate safety: For immediate danger, contact emergency services. Follow qualified responders. Record household check-ins and next safety review.
  3. Document damage: Record incident category, date, affected areas and evidence references when safe.
  4. Coordinate recovery: Record temporary repairs, emergency providers and restoration tasks.
  5. Review insurance needs: Record claim reference or why a claim is not needed.
  6. Verify recovery: Record restoration outcome, inspection and remaining responsibilities.
  7. Link supporting existing records and add dated inspections, appointments or communications in Timeline and inspections. Save each dated record explicitly.
  8. Create follow-ups in the workflow to reuse assigned Maintenance and its recurrence/reminder controls.
  9. Owners preparing transfer or caregiver information can select linked records for a verified recipient's private copy. Review every selection; document originals use the separate curated package. Recipients accept while signed in; owners can revoke future access, but downloaded copies cannot be recalled.
  10. Save required outcomes before completing. Reopen with In progress when further work is needed. Workflow and journal records are visible to the household; no legal authority, coverage or payment confirmation is inferred.

Available with core home records on all plans. Record, storage and processing allowances apply; household roles determine editing access.
