Maintenance & Planning
Caregiver or Estate Handoff
Prepare selected continuity information for an authorized trusted person.
How to use it
- Open Guided Actions and choose Caregiver or Estate Handoff. Name the workflow and save it.
- Define authorization: Record trusted recipient, purpose, permitted information and expiration. This does not establish legal authority.
- Prepare selected records: Review emergency, maintenance and equipment information. Remove credentials and unrelated personal information.
- Confirm handoff: Record delivery and verified acceptance of the reviewed package. Exported copies cannot be remotely revoked.
- Review ongoing access: Record household access decisions, expiration review date and revocation instructions.
- Link supporting existing records and add dated inspections, appointments or communications in Timeline and inspections. Save each dated record explicitly.
- Create follow-ups in the workflow to reuse assigned Maintenance and its recurrence/reminder controls.
- Owners preparing transfer or caregiver information can select linked records for a verified recipient's private copy. Review every selection; document originals use the separate curated package. Recipients accept while signed in; owners can revoke future access, but downloaded copies cannot be recalled.
- Save required outcomes before completing. Reopen with In progress when further work is needed. Workflow and journal records are visible to the household; no legal authority, coverage or payment confirmation is inferred.
Available with core home records on all plans. Record, storage and processing allowances apply; household roles determine editing access.
