Connected Equipment
Troubleshoot a missing or delayed connection
Check authorization, mapping and observation age without replacing equipment records or inventing missing readings.
How to use it
- Open Connected Services and review provider availability, configuration requirements and the connection’s status/error. A research or approval-required registry entry is not an enabled adapter.
- For an enabled adapter, review owner authorization and credentials through the existing secure setup form. Never enter a manufacturer account password in ResiArk. Use Reconnect on the same account to replace expired authorization while retaining device identities, equipment links and history. Canceling manufacturer consent preserves the previous connection. After a disconnection, select the devices to monitor again.
- Discover devices and explicitly link the correct existing equipment or inventory record. Enable monitoring for that selected device. A discovered but unmapped or paused device is not collecting operational history.
- Check Next allowed synchronization and actual source/received times. Current hosted processing is scheduled daily. Choose a reading interval at or above the provider minimum; this controls request eligibility. The Scheduled readings status shows whether execution is disabled, overdue, failed or recently completed. Provider intervals do not promise frequent or instantaneous data.
- Rediscovery marks a device missing from the provider account as removed and pauses its monitoring while keeping its records. Missing usable readings can generate a deduplicated alert after the deployment schedule grace period; review connection status and the provider account. A usable reading resolves that condition. Personal notification opt-ins and delivery configuration still apply. Wait for rate limits or quotas rather than repeatedly reconnecting. Unsupported measurements, missing timestamps and no returned capabilities need source review, not zero-filled readings.
- Disconnect through the existing connection controls to stop local polling and remove stored credentials. Also revoke the key/application in the manufacturer account when appropriate. Retained evidence stays distinct from current readings.
- Use sample preview to understand the UI while external setup is unavailable. Successful simulated authorization does not activate an unavailable provider.
Sample preview is available on every plan. Real ongoing connections require Ark+, configured services, supported equipment and household editing permission for setup. Existing saved history remains readable subject to household access.
