Download a home continuity file
Download one ZIP with an offline printable guide, full record sections, selected current and historical readable originals, and checksums.
How to use it
- Open Home Data Export and choose Prepare home continuity file. Every required section must load; failures do not produce a partial package.
- Review section counts and select original files. Current attachments and retained historical originals can be included. No original is silently skipped when its download fails.
- Download the printable preview if helpful. Approve the private contacts, costs, notes and selected originals before downloading the complete ZIP.
- Extract the ZIP, then open HOME-CONTINUITY.html in a browser without signing in. Use Print to save a PDF. Original links work from the extracted package.
- records.json retains IDs and relationships; manifest.json lists original sources, omissions, file sizes and SHA-256 checksums. Credentials and storage paths are excluded.
- The file supports 20,000 records, 20 MB metadata and 100 MB selected originals. It does not update and delivered copies cannot be revoked. Keep it private. Core home recovery is a separate restore workflow.
Available with core home records on all plans. Record, storage and processing allowances apply; household roles determine editing access.
