Organize items in an individual room

How to use it

1. Click or tap a room on Property Map or Floor Plan View to open its Room View. Edit Room opens that exact room. Done Editing saves and returns directly to Room View. Back to Floor Plan also saves pending edits.
2. Room View displays the saved room outline with its actual aspect ratio. Assign belongings or equipment to the saved room in Inventory or Systems first.
3. Choose Edit Room next to Room View. Add / place items jumps to the room inventory. Add New Item opens the existing inventory form with this room selected; save, return to the room, then choose Place in room. Assign an Existing Item opens the current inventory editor with this room preselected; choose an item, review and save its new location, then return to place it. Find room items and Not yet on this map help locate belongings. Drag or touch-drag a mapped item to reposition it; select it for size, rotation and Open item details. Remove room marker removes only the position, not the inventory record.
4. Room geometry and item positions stay locked in Room View. Choose Edit Room, then Room dimensions & layout to change dimensions, boundaries, fixed features, room walls, doors or windows. Drag blank space to pan the view; item position fields and arrow keys provide precise placement. On mobile, use the labeled item and layout shortcuts instead of hunting below the canvas.
5. Room positions are stored relative to the room and validated against the full irregular polygon. A moved item is excluded from its old room after its inventory location changes, and is not automatically positioned in the new room.
6. Review retained legacy, conflicting or invalidated positions in Placements needing review. Original coordinates are preserved; deliberately place the eligible record again at a valid position, then remove the retained marker when appropriate.
