Manage HVAC systems and service

Use HVAC & Climate to document independent systems, shared components, service and supporting records.

How to use it

  1. Open Home Systems → HVAC & Climate and Add HVAC system. Record the actual type, served area and time zone.
  2. In Equipment, add a component or link an existing HVAC equipment record. A thermostat is a component; associate its parent equipment and served zone explicitly.
  3. Record optional verified specifications, installation and warranty dates. Use label capture to review manufacturer/model suggestions; save only supported values.
  4. Create adjustable maintenance tasks with dates and instruction sources. Complete recurring tasks in Maintenance so their next occurrence is retained.
  5. Use Service History for completed work, technician, diagnosis, parts and recorded costs. Upload private photos, invoices, manuals and coverage evidence in Documents.
  6. Check official CPSC notices on the equipment record using actual manufacturer/model identifiers. An unavailable check is not an all-clear.
  7. Review Connected Telemetry only for explicitly linked devices. Manual records remain useful without a vendor connection.

Available with core home records on all plans. Record, storage and processing allowances apply; household roles determine editing access.
